1Formeln und Methoden

Leseverständnis (Aufnahmeprüfungen)

Methode

  1. Lies zuerst die Frage, damit du weißt, wonach du suchst.

  2. Streiche Einschübe (of the …, along with …) und zusätzliche Personen (you and …) weg, um Kongruenz und Pronomenfall zu prüfen.

Antwort: C · Soap and water are the better choice for greasy hands.

Warum das die Antwort ist

If sanitiser does not remove dirt and grease well, soap and water are better for dirty or greasy hands. The passage does not say sanitiser should never be used.

Antwort

C · Soap and water are the better choice for greasy hands.
2.Leseverständnis (Aufnahmeprüfungen)

B · Chlorination likely helped reduce waterborne disease.
3.Englische Grammatik & Sprachgebrauch (Aufnahmeprüfungen)

Warum das die Antwort ist

“Some”, “all”, “most” and “none” take their number from the noun that follows. “Cake” here is singular, so the verb is “is”.

A · is
4.Englische Grammatik & Sprachgebrauch (Aufnahmeprüfungen)

Antwort: C · The patient is being moved to a private room.

Warum das die Antwort ist

“Is being moved” combines the progressive (is being) with the passive (moved), and the doer is not the subject. B and C are active, and D is passive but in the present perfect.

C · The patient is being moved to a private room.
