Conoscenze dell’assistente infermieristico (CNA)
Passi metrici
1 kg = 1000 g, 1 g = 1000 mg, 1 mg = 1000 mcg, 1 L = 1000 mL
Peso e lunghezza
1 kg = 2,2 lb, 1 lb = 16 oz, 1 in = 2,54 cm, 1 ft = 12 in
Misure domestiche
1 tsp = 5 mL, 1 tbsp = 15 mL, 1 fl oz = 30 mL, 1 cup = 8 fl oz = 240 mL
A resident complains to the nursing assistant that her meals always arrive cold. What should the nursing assistant do?
ATell her that complaining may make the kitchen staff angry
BTell her that all residents get cold food, so it is normal
CIgnore the complaint because meals are not part of the nursing assistant's job
DListen, report it to the nurse and assure her she may complain without punishment
105,5 °F
T = °C

Usando gli equivalenti indicati, trova l’assunzione orale totale V in mL.
1 fl oz = 30 mL1 tsp = 5 mL1 tazza = 8 fl oz = 240 mL1 tbsp = 15 mL
Risposta: D · To regain bladder control by toileting on a set schedule
Perché è questa la risposta
Bladder retraining uses a schedule of toileting at set times, with prompt help, to help the resident regain control. Limiting fluids can cause dehydration and concentrated urine that irritates the bladder.
Risposta
D · To regain bladder control by toileting on a set schedule
Risposta: D · Listen, report it to the nurse and assure her she may complain without punishment
Perché è questa la risposta
Residents have the right to make complaints without fear of retaliation and to have them addressed. The nursing assistant listens, reports the complaint and follows up so it can be fixed.
Risposta
D · Listen, report it to the nurse and assure her she may complain without punishment
3.Matematica infermieristica e conversioni di unità
Risposta: T = 40,8 °C
Temperatura: °C = (°F − 32) × 5/9 e °F = °C × 9/5 + 32.
Sottrai 32
105,5 − 32 = 73,5
Moltiplica per 5/9
T = 73,5·5/9 = 40,83 ≈ 40,8 °C
Risposta
T = 40,8 °C
4.Matematica infermieristica e conversioni di unità
Risposta: V = 170 mL
