1Formule e metodi

Infermieristica di salute mentale

Metodo

3Soluzioni

1.Infermieristica di salute mentale

Risposta: C · Respond respectfully but firmly, and keep the same expectations as for other patients

Perché è questa la risposta

People with narcissistic personality disorder have a fragile self-esteem beneath the grandiosity. A consistent, respectful and non-defensive approach avoids power struggles and maintains the usual boundaries.

Risposta

C · Respond respectfully but firmly, and keep the same expectations as for other patients
2.Infermieristica di salute mentale

Risposta: A · Calmly follow the agreed care plan on activity and observation, without arguing or punishing

Perché è questa la risposta

Compensatory exercise undermines weight restoration. The team agrees clear limits and observation in the care plan and applies them consistently and without judgement, while exploring the feelings behind the behaviour.

Risposta

A · Calmly follow the agreed care plan on activity and observation, without arguing or punishing
3.Psicologia clinica

5.Farmacologia

Risposta: C · Report a temperature of 38 °C (100,4 °F) or higher straight away

Perché è questa la risposta

Neutropenic patients may have few signs of infection other than fever, and sepsis can develop quickly. A fever needs urgent assessment; good hand hygiene and avoiding sick contacts are also taught.

Risposta

C · Report a temperature of 38 °C (100,4 °F) or higher straight away
6.Farmacologia

Risposta: B · Severe hypokalaemia, hyponatraemia and dehydration

Perché è questa la risposta

Combining a loop and a thiazide diuretic gives a strong synergistic diuresis. This can cause marked electrolyte loss and volume depletion, so weight, electrolytes and kidney function are monitored closely.

Risposta

B · Severe hypokalaemia, hyponatraemia and dehydration
