1Formulės ir metodai
Infekcijų kontrolė ir pacientų sauga
Metodas
2Uždaviniai
1.Infekcijų kontrolė ir pacientų saugaVidutinis
A visitor with a cold wants to see a patient who has severe neutropenia. What should the nurse advise?
AVisit but avoid touching the patient’s bed
BVisit only if the cold started more than a day ago
CPostpone the visit until the visitor is well
DVisit as usual after washing the hands
2.Infekcijų kontrolė ir pacientų saugaSunkus
A nurse discovers that an insulin infusion was programmed using the wrong drug concentration in the pump library. What should the nurse do first?
AReprogram the pump and finish the shift before reporting
BStop the infusion and check the patient’s blood glucose
CDouble the rate to correct for the error
DLeave it running and check the glucose at the next routine time
3.Slaugos pagrindaiVidutinis
A goal states: "The patient will report pain of 3/10 or less within one hour of analgesia." After one hour the patient reports 6/10. What should the nurse do?
ARecord the goal as met, as the pain has gone down
BRecord the goal as not met and review the plan
CWait until the next day to evaluate again
DChange the goal to 6/10 or less so that it counts as met
4.Slaugos pagrindaiSunkus
A competent adult who is a Jehovah's Witness refuses a blood transfusion that the team believes is needed. Which two ethical principles are in conflict?
DGramteigiamų bakterijų į aplinkinius audinius išskiriamas baltyminis toksinas
6.MikrobiologijaSunkus

Atsakymas: C · Postpone the visit until the visitor is well
Kodėl tai yra atsakymas
Patients with severe neutropenia cannot fight infections well. People with respiratory or other infections should not visit until they are well; other visitors perform hand hygiene.
Atsakymas
C · Postpone the visit until the visitor is well
2.Infekcijų kontrolė ir pacientų sauga
Atsakymas: B · Stop the infusion and check the patient’s blood glucose
Kodėl tai yra atsakymas
A concentration error means the dose delivered was wrong. The nurse stops the infusion, assesses the patient including blood glucose, treats as needed, notifies the prescriber and reports the event.
Atsakymas
B · Stop the infusion and check the patient’s blood glucose
3.Slaugos pagrindai
Atsakymas: B · Record the goal as not met and review the plan
Kodėl tai yra atsakymas
Evaluation compares the outcome with the goal. The goal was not met, so the nurse reassesses, reports and revises the plan, for example with a different analgesic.
Atsakymas
B · Record the goal as not met and review the plan
4.Slaugos pagrindai
Atsakymas: C · Autonomy and beneficence
Kodėl tai yra atsakymas
The patient's right to decide (autonomy) conflicts with the team's wish to do good (beneficence). A valid refusal by a competent adult is respected, and alternatives to blood are explored.
Atsakymas
C · Autonomy and beneficence
5.Mikrobiologija
Atsakymas
B · Gramneigiamų bakterijų išorinės membranos lipopolisacharidas
6.Mikrobiologija
Atsakymas: A · Karbolio rūgšties (fenolio) naudojimas kaip antiseptiko žaizdoms ir instrumentams
Kodėl tai yra atsakymas
Listeris karbolio rūgštimi apdorodavo žaizdas, tvarsčius ir instrumentus, todėl pooperacinių infekcijų labai sumažėjo. Taip prasidėjo antiseptinė chirurgija.
Atsakymas
A · Karbolio rūgšties (fenolio) naudojimas kaip antiseptiko žaizdoms ir instrumentams
