2Oefenopgaven
1.Infectiepreventie en patiëntveiligheidGemiddeld
A patient receiving continuous nasogastric feeding has pulled the tube partly out. What should the nurse do first?
AStop the feeding until the tube position is checked
BTape the tube in its new position and continue
CPush the tube back in and restart the feed
DIncrease the feed rate to make up for the lost time
2.Infectiepreventie en patiëntveiligheidMoeilijk
A patient on airborne precautions for tuberculosis wants to walk in the hallway. What is the best response?
AAllow it, as long as the patient wears an N95 respirator in the corridor
BAllow it, if they avoid the nurses’ station
CExplain that they must stay in the room, and offer ways to stay active inside it
DAllow it, as long as they walk quickly
3.BasisverpleegkundeGemiddeld

AHang up without saying anything
BGive full details, as close family members have a right to know
CCheck the patient's wishes and the caller's identity first
DRead out the latest notes over the phone
4.BasisverpleegkundeMoeilijk
The intact skin over a patient's heel is deep purple and feels boggy. What should be suspected?
AA suspected deep tissue injury
BA normal bruise from a minor knock
CA fungal skin infection
DA category 1 pressure ulcer that will heal by itself
AEen chronische hepatitis B-infectie
BImmuniteit door hepatitis B-vaccinatie
CEen actuele acute hepatitis B-infectie
DEen doorgemaakte natuurlijke infectie die is geklaard
3Oplossingen
1.Infectiepreventie en patiëntveiligheid
Antwoord: A · Stop the feeding until the tube position is checked
Waarom dit het antwoord is
A displaced tube may now sit in the esophagus or airway. The feeding is stopped and the tube is not pushed back blindly. Its position is checked according to policy, or it is replaced.
Antwoord
A · Stop the feeding until the tube position is checked
2.Infectiepreventie en patiëntveiligheid
Antwoord: C · Explain that they must stay in the room, and offer ways to stay active inside it
Waarom dit het antwoord is
Patients on airborne precautions stay in the negative-pressure room with the door closed, leaving only for essential tests while wearing a surgical mask. The nurse explains why and helps the patient cope with confinement.
Antwoord
C · Explain that they must stay in the room, and offer ways to stay active inside it
3.Basisverpleegkunde
Antwoord: C · Check the patient's wishes and the caller's identity first
Waarom dit het antwoord is
Information is shared only with people the patient has agreed to, and the caller's identity is checked as per policy. Often only limited information is given by phone.
Antwoord
C · Check the patient's wishes and the caller's identity first
4.Basisverpleegkunde
Antwoord: A · A suspected deep tissue injury
Waarom dit het antwoord is
A purple or maroon area of intact skin, often firm or boggy, suggests deep tissue injury from pressure and shear. It can quickly become a deep open ulcer, so pressure must be removed at once.
Antwoord
A · A suspected deep tissue injury
5.Microbiologie
Antwoord: D · Salmonella Typhi
