1Formule e metodi
2Esercizi
1.Controllo delle infezioni e sicurezza del pazienteMedia
A family member will visit a patient on contact precautions. What should the nurse do?
AShow them how to use the gown and gloves and how to clean their hands
BTell them visits are not allowed at all
CTell them precautions only apply to staff
DAsk them to wear an N95 respirator only, with no gown or gloves
2.Controllo delle infezioni e sicurezza del pazienteDifficile
A nurse calls a provider using SBAR about a patient with falling blood pressure. Which statement is the “Recommendation”?
A“I am calling about Mr. Jansen in room 12, who is hypotensive.”
B“He is 72 and had a bowel resection yesterday.”
C“I think he needs to be assessed now. Can you come within the next 15 minutes?”
D“His blood pressure has fallen from 130/80 to 88/50 over the last two hours.”
AA postoperative patient with SpO₂ 89% on air and a respiratory rate of 28
BA patient with a pain score of 3/10 whose analgesia is due in an hour
CA patient who is asking for help to walk to the toilet now
DA patient who is waiting for their discharge letter and medicines
5.MicrobiologiaMedia
BLa malattia deve rispondere agli antibiotici
3Soluzioni
1.Controllo delle infezioni e sicurezza del paziente
Risposta: A · Show them how to use the gown and gloves and how to clean their hands
Perché è questa la risposta
Visitors are taught how to put on and remove PPE as required by the policy and how to perform hand hygiene, so they protect themselves and other patients.
Risposta
A · Show them how to use the gown and gloves and how to clean their hands
2.Controllo delle infezioni e sicurezza del paziente
Risposta: C · “I think he needs to be assessed now. Can you come within the next 15 minutes?”
Perché è questa la risposta
In SBAR, the situation names the problem, the background gives the history, the assessment shares the nurse’s findings and judgement, and the recommendation states a clear request with a time frame.
Risposta
C · “I think he needs to be assessed now. Can you come within the next 15 minutes?”
3.Fondamenti di infermieristica
Risposta: B · Emostasi, infiammazione, proliferazione, maturazione
Risposta
B · Emostasi, infiammazione, proliferazione, maturazione
4.Fondamenti di infermieristica
Risposta: A · A postoperative patient with SpO₂ 89% on air and a respiratory rate of 28
Perché è questa la risposta
Low saturation with a high respiratory rate shows a breathing problem that could worsen quickly. The other needs are real but not urgent.
Risposta
A · A postoperative patient with SpO₂ 89% on air and a respiratory rate of 28
5.Microbiologia
