1Formule e metodi
2Esercizi
1.Controllo delle infezioni e sicurezza del pazienteMedia
A small spill of blood is found on the floor. How should it be cleaned?
AWear gloves, absorb the blood, then clean the area with an approved disinfectant
BCover it with a clean sheet and keep working
CWipe it up quickly with a dry cloth using bare hands, then wash the hands well
DLeave it until housekeeping arrives the next morning
2.Controllo delle infezioni e sicurezza del pazienteDifficile
In a mass-casualty incident with limited resources, why may a critically injured patient with little chance of survival receive care after others?
APatients are treated in the order they arrive
BThe most severely injured are never given comfort care
CResources go first to those most likely to survive with treatment
DCritical patients are always treated last in every situation, even outside disasters
3.Fondamenti di infermieristicaMedia
Before discharge, what is most important to confirm about the patient's new medicines?
AThat they know the chemical name of each drug
BThat they know the price of each medicine and where to buy it
CThat they know which company makes each drug
DThat they know how and when to take them and what to report
ACategoria 4
BCategoria 1
CCategoria 2
DCategoria 3
5.MicrobiologiaMedia
ANeisseria gonorrhoeae
BBordetella pertussis
CStreptococcus pneumoniae
DClostridium perfringens
3Soluzioni
1.Controllo delle infezioni e sicurezza del paziente
Risposta: A · Wear gloves, absorb the blood, then clean the area with an approved disinfectant
Perché è questa la risposta
Blood spills are cleaned promptly by staff wearing gloves. The blood is absorbed with disposable material, then the area is cleaned and disinfected with a hospital disinfectant, and waste goes into clinical waste.
Risposta
A · Wear gloves, absorb the blood, then clean the area with an approved disinfectant
2.Controllo delle infezioni e sicurezza del paziente
Risposta: C · Resources go first to those most likely to survive with treatment
Perché è questa la risposta
In disasters, triage shifts from treating the sickest first to saving the most lives with available resources. Expectant patients still receive comfort care and are reassessed as resources change.
Risposta
C · Resources go first to those most likely to survive with treatment
3.Fondamenti di infermieristica
Risposta: D · That they know how and when to take them and what to report
Perché è questa la risposta
Safe discharge needs the patient or carer to understand dose, timing, purpose and important side effects. Teach-back and written information help confirm this.
Risposta
D · That they know how and when to take them and what to report
4.Fondamenti di infermieristica
Risposta: D · Categoria 3
Servono chirurgia e antibiotici urgenti.
