1Formule e metodi

Controllo delle infezioni e sicurezza del paziente

Metodo

  2. Aggiungi precauzioni in base alla via: contatto (camice, guanti), goccioline (mascherina chirurgica), via aerea (N95, stanza a pressione negativa).
  4. Previeni i danni nell’ambiente: misure anticaduta, contenzione solo come ultima risorsa, RACE e PASS per l’incendio.

2Esercizi

1.Controllo delle infezioni e sicurezza del pazienteMedia

A person in scrubs without a hospital ID badge asks to take a newborn to the nursery. What should the nurse do?

  1. ARefuse, keep the baby with the mother and alert security
  2. BAsk the person their name and then give them the baby
  3. CLet the parents decide whether to hand the baby over
  4. DHand over the baby if the person seems confident
2.Controllo delle infezioni e sicurezza del pazienteDifficile

A patient given naloxone for an opioid overdose wakes up. An hour later, the patient is drowsy again with slow breathing. What is the likely reason?

  1. AThe patient is now allergic to naloxone
  2. BThe patient is simply tired after the event
  3. CNaloxone wears off sooner than many opioids, so the opioid effect returns
  4. DNaloxone itself causes slow breathing and drowsiness once it has been given

  1. ALiquidi adeguati, fibre alimentari e movimento
  2. BTrattenere lo stimolo a evacuare
  3. CLimitare i liquidi e restare a letto per far riposare l'intestino
  4. DEvitare frutta e verdura
4.Fondamenti di infermieristicaDifficile

Two days after surgery a patient has a temperature of 37,9 °C and reduced breath sounds at the lung bases. What is the most helpful nursing action, alongside reporting it?

  1. ARestrict all fluids to dry the secretions
  2. BEncourage deep breathing, coughing and getting out of bed
  3. CKeep the patient lying flat in bed so they can rest and save energy
  4. DStop all pain relief so the patient stays alert
5.MicrobiologiaMedia

Quale organismo causa la febbre tifoide?

  1. AShigella dysenteriae
  2. BSalmonella Typhi
  3. CVibrio cholerae
  4. DCampylobacter jejuni
6.MicrobiologiaDifficile

Perché un virus a RNA a polarità negativa come quello influenzale deve portare nella cellula ospite la propria RNA polimerasi RNA-dipendente?

  1. ALa polimerasi protegge il virus dagli anticorpi
  2. BI ribosomi dell'ospite non possono leggere alcun gene virale

3Soluzioni

1.Controllo delle infezioni e sicurezza del paziente

Risposta: A · Refuse, keep the baby with the mother and alert security

Perché è questa la risposta

Infants are only handed to staff with proper identification, as set out in the infant security policy. Suspicious behavior is reported to security at once, and parents are taught to do the same.

Risposta

A · Refuse, keep the baby with the mother and alert security
2.Controllo delle infezioni e sicurezza del paziente

Risposta: C · Naloxone wears off sooner than many opioids, so the opioid effect returns

Perché è questa la risposta

Naloxone acts for a shorter time than many opioids, so sedation and respiratory depression can return. Patients are monitored closely, and repeat doses or an infusion may be needed.

Risposta

C · Naloxone wears off sooner than many opioids, so the opioid effect returns
3.Fondamenti di infermieristica

Risposta: A · Liquidi adeguati, fibre alimentari e movimento

Risposta

A · Liquidi adeguati, fibre alimentari e movimento
4.Fondamenti di infermieristica

Risposta: B · Encourage deep breathing, coughing and getting out of bed

Perché è questa la risposta

These signs suggest atelectasis or early chest infection. Deep breathing, coughing, adequate pain relief and mobilisation help re-expand the lungs.

Risposta

B · Encourage deep breathing, coughing and getting out of bed
5.Microbiologia

Risposta: B · Salmonella Typhi
