1Formule e metodi

Infermieristica di salute mentale

Metodo

3Soluzioni

1.Infermieristica di salute mentale

Risposta: D · Recognise it as a common side effect, report it and suggest a towel on the pillow

Perché è questa la risposta

Hypersalivation is a common, unpleasant effect of clozapine, often worse at night. It can be embarrassing and affect adherence, so it is reported; treatments are available, and the nurse also watches for aspiration risk.

Risposta

D · Recognise it as a common side effect, report it and suggest a towel on the pillow
2.Infermieristica di salute mentale

Risposta: D · A patient with severe psychotic depression who has stopped eating and drinking

Perché è questa la risposta

ECT is effective for severe depression, especially with psychotic features, high suicide risk or refusal of food and fluids, when a rapid response is needed. It is not a first choice for mild conditions.

Risposta

D · A patient with severe psychotic depression who has stopped eating and drinking
3.Psicologia clinica

4.Psicologia clinica

Risposta: A · Molta critica, ostilità e iper-coinvolgimento emotivo

Risposta

A · Molta critica, ostilità e iper-coinvolgimento emotivo
5.Farmacologia

Risposta: A · Increase the dose as instructed (sick-day rules) and seek help if vomiting

Perché è questa la risposta

During illness, the body needs more cortisol, so patients usually double their glucocorticoid dose as instructed. If they cannot keep tablets down, they need injectable hydrocortisone and urgent care.

Risposta

A · Increase the dose as instructed (sick-day rules) and seek help if vomiting
6.Farmacologia

Risposta: D · Neonatal opioid withdrawal syndrome

Perché è questa la risposta

After birth the baby no longer receives opioid from the mother and develops withdrawal. Assessment uses a scoring tool, with non-drug care first and opioid treatment if signs are severe.

Risposta

D · Neonatal opioid withdrawal syndrome
