1Formule e metodi
Valutazione, educazione e verifica restano all’infermiere.
Area medico-chirurgica: cardiovascolare e respiratoria
Area medico-chirurgica: neurologica, endocrina e renale
Area medico-chirurgica: gastrointestinale, perioperatoria e oncologica

Ogni voce in mL
3 tazze = 3·240 = 720 mL
1½ tbsp = 1,5·15 = 22,5 mL
1 fl oz = 1·30 = 30 mL
Somma
V = 720 + 22,5 + 30 = 772,5 mL
Risposta
V = 772,5 mL
27.Calcoli di dosaggio
Risposta: D = 390 mg
Body-surface-area dosing: many cytotoxic and some paediatric doses are prescribed per square metre of body surface area: dose (mg) = dose per m² × BSA (m²). The Mosteller formula estimates BSA = √(height (cm) × weight (kg)/3600).
Dose
D = 375·1,04 = 390 mg
Risposta
D = 390 mg
28.Calcoli di dosaggio
Risposta: V = 1,6 mL
Dose calculation: the amount to give equals what is prescribed divided by what you have, times the quantity it comes in: amount = (desired dose/stock strength) × stock volume. Always keep the units the same (convert g to mg, mg to mcg first) and check that the answer is sensible.
Peso in kg
17,6/2,2 = 8 kg
Dose
10·8 = 80 mg
Volume
V = (80/250)·5 = 1,6 mL
Risposta
V = 1,6 mL
29.Velocità di infusione EV
Risposta: R = 110 mL/h
Infusion rates: a pump is set in mL/h = volume/time in hours. A gravity drip is counted in drops per minute: gtt/min = volume (mL) × drop factor (gtt/mL)/time (min). The drop factor is printed on the tubing package: macrodrip sets deliver 10, 15 or 20 gtt/mL (blood sets often 10 gtt/mL in the US, 15 in the UK) and microdrip sets 60 gtt/mL. Always use the drop factor the question or package gives.
Velocità originale
1000/10 = 100 mL/h
Nuova velocità
R = 220/2 = 110 mL/h
Risposta
R = 110 mL/h
Concentrazione
100/500 = 0,2 mg/mL
Velocità di dose
D = 0,2·30 = 6 mg/h
Risposta
D = 6 mg/h
31.Fluidi endovenosi e bilancio idrico
Risposta: B = 335 mL
Entrate totali
per bocca: 200 + 150 + 250 = 600 mL
cubetti di ghiaccio: 240/2 = 120 mL
Infusione EV: 75·12 = 900 mL
antibiotico e.v.: 2·100 = 200 mL
entrate totali = 1820 mL
Uscite totali
325 + 325 + 225 + 500 + 110 = 1485 mL
Bilancio
B = 1820 − 1485 = 335 mL
Risposta
B = 335 mL
32.Fluidi endovenosi e bilancio idrico
Risposta: t = 4 h
Volume rimanente
1000 − 700 = 300 mL
Tempo
t = 300/75 = 4 h
Risposta
t = 4 h
percezione sensoriale: leggermente limitata → 3
umidità: costantemente umida → 1
attività: cammina di frequente → 4
mobilità: leggermente limitata → 3
nutrizione: probabilmente inadeguata → 2
frizione e scivolamento: problema → 1
Somma
Totale di Braden = 3 + 1 + 4 + 3 + 2 + 1 = 14
Risposta
B = 14
