Which term means “pertaining to under the skin”?
答え: D · They compromised and took turns.
Each got to watch their choice on a different night, which is a compromise.
答え: C · The surgeon is careful despite great experience.
Reviewing every step even after hundreds of operations shows thoroughness and care. “Hundreds of times” rules out being new.
答え: D · Bring supplies such as gauze, tape and gloves.
No colon or comma comes after “such as”; the examples follow it directly. A colon would split the phrase from the words it introduces.
答え: C · For instance
“For instance” introduces examples that support the previous statement. The other transitions show contrast or cause and effect.
答え: B · Swallowed
To ingest is to take something into the body by swallowing it.
答え: C · Subcutaneous
Subcutaneous means beneath the skin. Intradermal is within the skin, epidermal the outer skin layer and transcutaneous through the skin.
