Choose the meaning of the word in bold: “His symptoms were intermittent.”
答え: C · Benefits of Cycling to Work
Every sentence gives an advantage of cycling to work, so “Benefits of Cycling to Work” fits best.
答え: D · 8 a.m. the next day
Tablet A is due at 8 p.m. and 8 a.m.; Tablet B at 4 p.m., midnight and 8 a.m. The first shared time is 8 a.m. the next day, 24 hours later.

“Twelfth” is spelled t-w-e-l-f-t-h. The v changes to f, and the f is often not clearly pronounced.
答え: D · The student whose book was lost asked for help.
“Whose” shows possession. In the other sentences “who’s” or “who is” would be needed, or the possessive is wrongly contracted.

An advocate supports and speaks on behalf of another person and protects their interests.
答え: D · Coming and going at intervals
