解き方
- 先に設問を読んで、何を探すかをつかみます。
- 文章をざっと読んで、話題と要点をつかみます。最初か最後の文に書かれていることがよくあります。
- 設問の答えになるまさにその箇所に戻ります。
- 推論では、手がかりが最も強く裏づける選択肢を選び、それ以上に踏み込んだものは選びません。
- ラベルや表では、当てはまる規則をすべて適用し、簡単な計算を慎重に行います。

Human adult height varies across a smooth, continuous range rather than falling into a few separate groups. What is the best explanation?
Potato cylinders are placed in sugar solutions of different strengths. They gain mass in weak solutions, lose mass in strong ones and show no change at 0.3 mol/L. What can be concluded?
A reaction has ΔH = −890 kJ/mol. What does the negative sign tell you?

Choose the meaning of the word in bold: “A sedentary lifestyle increases the risk of heart disease.”
In anatomy, which word is the opposite of dorsal?
答え: B · Family traditions are passed down.
The recipe and stories pass from grandmother to Jamal to his children, showing family traditions passed through generations.

Passage 1 names a cost and Passage 2 names benefits. Both could accept that night work has advantages and disadvantages; the other choices contradict at least one passage.
A · It is controlled by many genes and also affected by environment
A single gene with complete dominance gives clear categories. Height is polygenic and is also influenced by nutrition and health, which produces continuous variation.
答え: D · The potato cells have a solute concentration of about 0.3 mol/L
Where there is no net osmosis, the solution is isotonic with the cells. So the cell contents have a solute concentration roughly equal to 0.3 mol/L sugar solution.
答え: C · The reaction is exothermic
A negative ΔH means the system loses energy to the surroundings, so the reaction is exothermic. A positive ΔH means energy is absorbed (endothermic). This value is for burning methane.
答え: A · 3 atm
P₂ = 1 × 6/2 = 3 atm である。体積が 3 分の 1 になれば、圧力は 3 倍になる。
答え: A · fluently
“As … as” uses the base form of the adjective or adverb. Because it describes how she speaks, the adverb “fluently” is needed.
答え: A · has
The subject is “everybody”, which is singular. The phrase “except the two new nurses” does not change the number of the subject.
