Infectiepreventie en patiëntveiligheid

Methode

3Oplossingen

1.Infectiepreventie en patiëntveiligheid

Antwoord: A · In a bassinet, not carried in the arms

Waarom dit het antwoord is

Infants are moved in a bassinet through corridors. This prevents drops and makes abduction easier to spot, because carrying a baby in the arms in a hallway is unusual.

Antwoord

A · In a bassinet, not carried in the arms
2.Infectiepreventie en patiëntveiligheid

Antwoord: B · Use an electronic wander alert, supervise closely and offer meaningful activity

Waarom dit het antwoord is

Wander alert systems, close supervision, orientation and activity reduce the risk of elopement without restricting the patient. Seclusion, restraints and sedation used for convenience are not appropriate.

Antwoord

B · Use an electronic wander alert, supervise closely and offer meaningful activity
3.Basisverpleegkunde

Antwoord: D · Give each medicine separately and flush with water between them

Waarom dit het antwoord is

Each drug is prepared and given separately, with water flushes before, between and after, to prevent tube blockage and drug interactions. A pharmacist advises on suitable forms.

Antwoord

D · Give each medicine separately and flush with water between them
4.Basisverpleegkunde

Antwoord: B · A pulmonary embolism

Waarom dit het antwoord is

Sudden breathlessness, pleuritic chest pain and tachycardia after surgery suggest a clot from the leg has reached the lungs. This is an emergency needing urgent medical review.

Antwoord

B · A pulmonary embolism
5.Microbiologie

Antwoord: B · Een opportunistische infectie
