1Formules en methoden

Infectiepreventie en patiëntveiligheid

Methode

3Oplossingen

1.Infectiepreventie en patiëntveiligheid

Antwoord: D · Clipping with electric clippers just before surgery

Waarom dit het antwoord is

Razors cause tiny skin cuts that bacteria can colonize, which raises the infection risk. If hair must be removed, clippers are used close to the time of surgery.

Antwoord

D · Clipping with electric clippers just before surgery
2.Infectiepreventie en patiëntveiligheid

Antwoord: C · “We keep the gun loaded in the nightstand, and the children know not to touch it.”

Waarom dit het antwoord is

Firearms in homes with children should be stored unloaded and locked, with ammunition stored separately and locked. Telling children not to touch a gun does not reliably prevent injuries.

Antwoord

C · “We keep the gun loaded in the nightstand, and the children know not to touch it.”
3.Basisverpleegkunde

Antwoord: B · Keep the mouth and lips moist with frequent gentle care

Waarom dit het antwoord is

Frequent gentle mouth care with moist swabs, water sprays and lip balm keeps the patient comfortable. Forcing fluids risks choking and aspiration.

Antwoord

B · Keep the mouth and lips moist with frequent gentle care
4.Basisverpleegkunde

Antwoord: D · Use a soft toothbrush and avoid IM injections where possible

Waarom dit het antwoord is

A low platelet count raises the risk of bleeding. Bleeding precautions include soft toothbrushes, electric razors, avoiding IM injections and avoiding aspirin and NSAIDs.

Antwoord

D · Use a soft toothbrush and avoid IM injections where possible
5.Microbiologie

6.Microbiologie

Antwoord: B · Shigatoxineproducerende E. coli zoals O157:H7

Antwoord

B · Shigatoxineproducerende E. coli zoals O157:H7
