1Formules en methoden

Prioriteren en delegeren

Methode

3Oplossingen

1.Prioriteren en delegeren

Antwoord: D · Thiamine (vitamin B1)

Waarom dit het antwoord is

Thiamine deficiency is common in heavy alcohol use, and giving glucose without thiamine can trigger Wernicke encephalopathy. Thiamine is given before or with glucose.

Antwoord

D · Thiamine (vitamin B1)
2.Prioriteren en delegeren

Antwoord: B · Decontamination before the victim enters the treatment area

Waarom dit het antwoord is

A stable, contaminated victim is decontaminated before entering the department, to protect staff, other patients and the victim. Life-saving care may come first only if the victim is unstable.

Antwoord

B · Decontamination before the victim enters the treatment area
3.Infectiepreventie en patiëntveiligheid

Antwoord: C · Wash hands often and do not share towels, pillows or eye drops

Waarom dit het antwoord is

Viral conjunctivitis spreads easily by contact with eye secretions. Hand hygiene, not touching the eyes and not sharing towels, pillows or eye products reduce spread.

Antwoord

C · Wash hands often and do not share towels, pillows or eye drops
4.Infectiepreventie en patiëntveiligheid

Antwoord: B · Stop the infusion and check the patient’s blood glucose

Waarom dit het antwoord is

A concentration error means the dose delivered was wrong. The nurse stops the infusion, assesses the patient including blood glucose, treats as needed, notifies the prescriber and reports the event.

Antwoord

B · Stop the infusion and check the patient’s blood glucose
5.Laboratoriumwaarden en elektrolyten

Antwoord: A · Een laag serumcalcium

Antwoord

A · Een laag serumcalcium
6.Laboratoriumwaarden en elektrolyten

Antwoord: C · G6PD deficiency with acute hemolysis

Waarom dit het antwoord is

G6PD deficiency makes red cells vulnerable to oxidative damage. Fava beans, some drugs (such as primaquine and some sulfonamides) and infections can trigger acute hemolysis, with dark urine, jaundice and anemia. Triggers are avoided.

Antwoord

C · G6PD deficiency with acute hemolysis
7.Klinische verpleegkunde

Antwoord: D · Protaminesulfaat

Waarom dit het antwoord is

Protamine bindt heparine en neutraliseert het. Vitamine K wordt gebruikt bij warfarine.

Antwoord

D · Protaminesulfaat
8.Klinische verpleegkunde

Antwoord: B · Strict hand hygiene by everyone who has contact with the patient

Waarom dit het antwoord is

Hand hygiene is the single most effective measure to protect neutropenic patients. Rectal procedures and IM injections are avoided because they can cause mucosal or tissue injury and bleeding.

Antwoord

B · Strict hand hygiene by everyone who has contact with the patient
9.Medisch-chirurgisch: cardiovasculair en respiratoir

Antwoord: C · CURB-65

Antwoord

C · CURB-65
10.Medisch-chirurgisch: cardiovasculair en respiratoir

Antwoord: A · Sternal wound infection with an unstable sternum

Waarom dit het antwoord is

Deep sternal wound infection and sternal dehiscence are serious complications, more common with diabetes, obesity and COPD. Signs include fever, wound discharge, redness and an unstable or clicking sternum. Urgent surgical review, wound swabs, blood cultures and antibiotics are needed.

Antwoord

A · Sternal wound infection with an unstable sternum
11.Medisch-chirurgisch: neurologie, endocrinologie en nieren

Antwoord: D · Older adults often show infection as confusion

Waarom dit het antwoord is

In older adults, infections such as UTI may present with delirium, falls or reduced mobility rather than dysuria or fever. Other causes of delirium must also be considered, and urine tests alone can mislead.

Antwoord

D · Older adults often show infection as confusion
12.Medisch-chirurgisch: neurologie, endocrinologie en nieren

Antwoord: D · Urgent MRI and referral to the spinal surgeons

Waarom dit het antwoord is

Saddle anaesthesia with urinary retention suggests cauda equina syndrome. Delay can lead to permanent bladder, bowel and sexual dysfunction. The patient needs an emergency MRI and surgical decompression if confirmed.

Antwoord

D · Urgent MRI and referral to the spinal surgeons
13.Medisch-chirurgisch: maag-darmstelsel, perioperatief en oncologie

Antwoord: B · Screening for tuberculosis

Waarom dit het antwoord is

Anti-TNF drugs suppress immunity and can reactivate latent tuberculosis. Patients are screened for TB and hepatitis B before starting and are taught to report signs of infection.

Antwoord

B · Screening for tuberculosis
14.Medisch-chirurgisch: maag-darmstelsel, perioperatief en oncologie

Antwoord: D · A non-coring (Huber) needle

Waarom dit het antwoord is

Implanted ports have a silicone septum that reseals after access with a non-coring needle. Aseptic technique, checking blood return before use and flushing according to policy keep the device working safely.

Antwoord

D · A non-coring (Huber) needle
