1Công thức và phương pháp

Kiểm soát nhiễm khuẩn và an toàn người bệnh

Phương pháp

  1. Bắt đầu với các biện pháp phòng ngừa chuẩn cho mọi bệnh nhân: vệ sinh tay, phương tiện bảo hộ cá nhân (PPE) cho phơi nhiễm dự kiến, xử lý vật sắc nhọn an toàn.

Why are patients on long-term corticosteroids at higher risk from infections?

  1. ASteroids suppress the immune response and can hide signs of infection
  2. BSteroids make the patient’s blood more acidic, which helps bacteria grow
  3. CSteroids kill the patient’s normal skin bacteria
  4. DSteroids only affect the risk of fungal skin rashes
2.Kiểm soát nhiễm khuẩn và an toàn người bệnhKhó

A nurse has a needlestick from a patient with hepatitis B. The nurse finished the vaccine series and has a documented protective antibody level. Which statement is correct?

  1. AHepatitis B immune globulin and a complete new vaccine series are both needed at once
  2. BNo hepatitis B treatment is needed, but the injury is still reported and followed up
  3. CNo reporting is needed because the nurse is immune
  4. DThe nurse must stop all patient care for six months
3.Điều dưỡng cơ bảnTrung bình

A patient says, "I've never seen this tablet before," as the nurse offers it. What should the nurse do?

  1. AGive half the tablet until the doctor visits
  2. BStop and recheck the prescription before giving it
  3. CReassure the patient that the tablet is correct and give it
  4. DLeave the tablet on the table for the patient to take later
4.Điều dưỡng cơ bảnKhó

Eight hours after surgery a patient has not passed urine and has lower abdominal discomfort with a swelling above the pubic bone. What should the nurse do?

  1. AGive a laxative to relieve the swelling
  2. BRecord it and check again the next morning
  3. CEncourage the patient to drink two litres of water quickly
  4. DCheck the bladder volume with a scanner and report the findings
5.Vi sinh vật họcTrung bình

Sinh vật nào gây bệnh lao, và điều gì khiến nó khó nhuộm bằng phương pháp Gram?

  1. AMycobacterium tuberculosis, có thành chứa sáp acid mycolic

Đáp số: A · Steroids suppress the immune response and can hide signs of infection

Vì sao đây là đáp án

Corticosteroids reduce white cell activity and inflammation, so infections develop more easily and may cause less fever or redness. Nurses watch closely for subtle signs.

Đáp số

A · Steroids suppress the immune response and can hide signs of infection
2.Kiểm soát nhiễm khuẩn và an toàn người bệnh

Đáp số: B · No hepatitis B treatment is needed, but the injury is still reported and followed up

Vì sao đây là đáp án

A documented vaccine responder is protected against hepatitis B and needs no hepatitis B prophylaxis. The exposure is still reported, because the nurse and source patient need assessment for HIV and hepatitis C as well.

Đáp số

B · No hepatitis B treatment is needed, but the injury is still reported and followed up
3.Điều dưỡng cơ bản

Đáp số: B · Stop and recheck the prescription before giving it

Vì sao đây là đáp án

A patient questioning a medicine may be a sign of an error. The nurse holds the dose, checks the prescription and the drug and explains before giving it.

Đáp số

B · Stop and recheck the prescription before giving it
4.Điều dưỡng cơ bản

Đáp số: D · Check the bladder volume with a scanner and report the findings

Vì sao đây là đáp án

These signs suggest postoperative urinary retention. A bladder scan confirms the volume, and the doctor is told so it can be relieved, often by catheterisation.

Đáp số

D · Check the bladder volume with a scanner and report the findings
5.Vi sinh vật học

Đáp số: A · Mycobacterium tuberculosis, có thành chứa sáp acid mycolic

A · Mycobacterium tuberculosis, có thành chứa sáp acid mycolic
